About us
My goal has always been to teach, practice and perform "perfect" Jiu Jitsu. The Omega is the greek symbol for perfection , Therefore it was chosen as the name of our school.
Omega Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was opened in May 2007 by Mark A. Bradford. Mark is a Purple belt under 2nd Degree Black Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion Alberto Crane.
After moving to the Arkansas River Valley and having no where to train himself, Mark decided that Ft. Smith was in need of a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy.
After discussing his plans with Alberto and with Alberto's full support, The Omega Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy was born.
Our School:Our new school is located at 3500 Jenny Lind #C (In Ramsey Square). We offer a wide variety of classes which include Kick-boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Submission Grappling and Mixed Martial Arts. From beginner to advanced, for self defense or sport, OBJJA offers the best training available in the Arkansas River Valley!
